Before your session, we’ll talk about the way you want to be photographed, wardrobe, styling, comfort level, and any ideas you have. You’ll also receive my preparation and wardrobe guides so you never have to wonder what to bring or how to prepare.

02 — YOU GET PAMPERED

Your session begins with complimentary professional hair and makeup. Then we’ll photograph multiple looks at your pace, with access to my studio wardrobe, robes, fabrics, jewelry, shoes, and other styling pieces. And you never need to know how to pose—I’ll guide you through every movement, expression, and detail.

03 — YOU SEE YOURSELF

After your session, we’ll sit down for your private Image Reveal & Ordering appointment. You’ll choose the photographs you love and decide how you want to enjoy them—from digital images to albums, folio boxes, and artwork.

Some clients are excited to share their images. Others prefer to keep every photograph completely private. And some are comfortable sharing only selected images.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO POSE?

Absolutely not. Most of my clients have never done a boudoir session before. I’ll guide you through every pose, expression, hand placement, and tiny adjustment from beginning to end. You don’t need to practice anything before you arrive.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You don’t need to figure that out alone either. Before your session, we’ll talk through wardrobe and styling, and I’ll send you a detailed guide with ideas for what to wear and how to prepare.

You’ll also have access to pieces from my studio wardrobe, including robes, fabrics, jewelry, shoes, and other styling options.

And boudoir doesn’t have to mean lingerie—we can create beautiful photographs in a bodysuit, oversized shirt, dress, sweater, sheets, or whatever makes you feel most like yourself.

WHAT IF I’M NERVOUS OR DON’T LIKE MY BODY?

Then you’ll be in very good company. ❤️

You don’t need to arrive feeling confident about every part of yourself. My job is to understand how you want to be photographed and use posing, lighting, styling, and camera angles intentionally while still creating photographs that look and feel like you.

IS PROFESSIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP INCLUDED?

Yes. Professional hair and makeup is complimentary with your boudoir session. It’s part of the experience—and a wonderful way to relax and ease into your session before stepping in front of the camera.

WILL MY PHOTOGRAPHS BE SHARED ONLINE?

Only with your permission. You are never required to sign a model release, and your photographs will not be used on my website, social media, or advertising without your consent.

You may choose to keep everything private, allow only selected photographs to be shared, or give permission for more. The choice is always yours.

WHEN WILL I SEE MY PHOTOGRAPHS?

Usually, we’ll have your private Image Reveal & Ordering appointment right after your session, so you don’t have to wait to see your photographs.

If another day is more convenient, we can absolutely schedule your appointment separately.

During your reveal, you’ll see your photographs, choose your favorites, and decide which collection and artwork you’d like to purchase.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I EXPECT TO INVEST?

The boudoir session fee is $390 + tax and includes the planning, professional hair and makeup, photography experience, fully guided posing, and your private Image Reveal & Ordering appointment.

Photographs and products are purchased separately, with portrait collections beginning at $990.

I’M DOING THIS AS A GIFT. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?

The earlier, the better—especially if you’d like an album, folio box or other handcrafted artwork.

Your portraits need time for professional retouching, your approval and production. If you have a wedding, anniversary, birthday or another important date in mind, tell me when you inquire and I’ll let you know what’s possible.

From the moment you book, I’ll help you prepare. You’ll receive my What to Wear and How to Prepare guides, we’ll plan your session together, and I’ll answer any questions that come up along the way.
